We will overnight at the Drury Inn in Grove City, Ohio.
Experience the magic of Christmas at Castle Noel, America’s Largest Christmas entertainment attraction. Enjoy guided tours featuring toys from every generation, real NYC Christmas window displays, and Hollywood movie props. Dine lavishly at Charbenay’s on the River before being entertained by the USO-style variety show featuring The Dave Banks Big Band at Robins Theater.
Indulge in a delightful PIZZA PARTY with all the trimmings at the property, followed by a private show featuring "THE SIX AGES OF WOMAN," a hilarious one-woman performance that promises laughter and insight into life's journey.
Retreat to the Berlin Grande Hotel in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country for relaxation and amenities, including an indoor saltwater pool.
Start your day with a deluxe hot breakfast buffet before exploring America’s largest hardware store and the Hartville Flea Market. Enjoy a plated meal at Hartville Kitchen before being serenaded by Denny Diamond in "A Salute to ELVIS and TOM JONES... VEGAS STYLE."
Engage with locals over a prepared meal and catch a glimpse inside an Amish home. Enjoy conversations with fellow travelers and your hosts under the snapping gas lamps and at their homestead.
Enjoy a delicious meal at an Amish farm prepared by the family! The meal will feature locally raised meats, vegetables, real mashed potatoes, noodles, salad, homemade bread, and peanut butter whip and assorted mouth-watering pies!
Delight in another deluxe breakfast buffet before immersing yourself in the Warther Tree Festival showcasing the fabulous carvings by the World’s Master Carver, Mooney Warther. The festival is the stage for a one-week display of over 100 trees, wreaths, and other holiday decorations throughout the museum as a fund raiser for the local hospital!
View the family home decorated as a 1920’s holiday scene when the Warther children would gather at the family home. Be sure to visit the gift shop.
Take time to go over to Warther Cutlery….and see how these knives are made. They offer a wonderful gift shop and an opportunity to see how products are made right on sight.
When you hold a Warther knife in your hand, you are holding a piece of history. That is because, more than a century after Mooney Warther created his first knife, Warther knives are made with the same hand-crafted tradition and attention to detail that he put into his work.
Next is the beautiful Reeves Mansion. As guests enter the doorway of this 19th century mansion, they will feel as if they are entering another world. This “farmhouse” displays an earlier way of life, with turn-of-the-century elegance. Many of the mansion’s 17 major rooms, topped by the third-floor ballroom, have been restored to highlight the hundreds of antiques that belonged to the Reeves family. Guests will receive a guided tour including the turreted carriage house museum (which features a military exhibit from the Civil War through W.W.II.). This stately Mansion will be totally bedecked in Victorian splendor from top to bottom.
Enjoy lunch at Walnut Creek Cheese and explore the candy-making class at Troyer Sweet Shoppe. If there is one homemade candy that everyone loves, it is homemade buckeyes. Share in the Troyer family tradition and enjoy the delicious taste of Grandma’s recipe.
We enjoy making candies for you to enjoy and would like to share the experience with you.
Guest will participate buckeye dipping class where you get to dip six buckeyes for yourself to take with you.
Troyer’s Sweet Shoppe, is a third-generation homemade chocolate shop that will leave visitors licking their lips and savoring the scent of the variety of fudge, hand-dipped candies, caramels, milk, dark and white chocolate treats.
Conclude the day with a family-style dinner at Carlisle Inn Banquet Center before experiencing "The American Variety Show" at Amish Country Theatre. The American Variety Show pays tribute to shows such as the Carol Burnett Show, Andy Williams, Donny, and Marie, Hee Haw, and so much more. This show is fun for all ages!
