You'll be given hours of independent research time while exploring the serene Red Butte Garden to unraveling family histories at The Family Search Library, our adventure is enriched with guided tours, breathtaking excursions to Snowbird, and leisurely explorations of iconic landmarks like Temple Square.
Wednesday, September 11, 2024 - Day 2
Rise and shine to a scrumptious breakfast, setting the tone for a day filled with exploration and charm. Our Step-on Guide will reveal the city's hidden gems, from the historic Pioneer and Temple Squares to the vibrant Trolley and Library Squares. Be enthralled by a live Tabernacle Organ performance before lunch. Post-lunch, immerse yourself in the world of ancestry at The Family Search Library, where we will participate in a Discovery Experience. In this experience, we will learn what the library can offer us as we research our own family lineage. Dinner will be as a group tonight.
Friday, September 13, 2024 - Day 4
Embrace the luxury of sleeping in a little longer before we venture to the majestic Snowbird in the Rocky Mountains. A breathtaking aerial tram ride awaits, carrying us up 2,900 vertical feet in a mere 13 minutes. At the summit, relish a 360-degree panorama from Hidden Peak, a view that will surely leave you in awe. Following a delectable lunch on your own, seize the afternoon to wrap up any remaining research at The Family Search Library. Our final group dinner will be tonight.
Tuesday, September 10, 2024 - Day 1
Let the excitement begin as we board an early flight to the captivating Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon arrival, our comfortable motorcoach waits to whisk us away to the enchanting Red Butte Garden. This 100-acre oasis of botanical gardens and serene hiking trails will rejuvenate us after the flight and let you bask in the beauty that is Utah. Afterward, we will indulge in a Welcome Dinner and settle into our hotel for a splendid 4-night stay!
Thursday, September 12, 2024 - Day 3
Today holds another chapter of discovery at The Family Search Library. The morning allows you to delve deep into your family history, filling in the gaps with excitement. Lunch on your own beckons at the charming Trolley Square, providing a chance to savor local flavors. As the afternoon unfolds, relish some leisure time at the hotel before an enchanting evening of Tabernacle Choir practice and an exquisite dinner.
Saturday, September 14, 2024 - Day 5
Today marks the culmination of our tour, but it's far from the end. With time at your fingertips, explore the iconic Temple Square and its myriad attractions. Delight in a leisurely lunch on your own amidst the splendor. As the sun begins to set, we board our late afternoon flight home, carrying with us new information on our family history and great memories of our time in Salt Lake City.
